Chamomile has been used since the time of Hippocrates, the father of medicine, in 500 bc. The ancient Greeks, Egyptians, and Romans regularly used the chamomile flowers to treat conditions for skin which were caused because of dry weather (Baumann 2007) and as a calming beverage in the form of tea or tisane (Lissandrello 2008).
Chamomile tea is an ancient medical herb that promotes relaxation and can be used for general health maintainence .

CHAMOMILE (Matricaria chamomilla)
Hot Infusion : Pour 1.5 cups hot water over 1 Tablespoon tea.
Steep for 5 - 10 minutes.
Please note : It is recommended to use a cup/kettle with a lid so while steeping the essential oils do not evaporate while the extraction takes place to achieve maximum benefits .
Cold Infusion : Pour 2 cups of luke warm water in a Mason Jar add 1 Tablespoon tea and refrigirate for atleast 2 hours
Recommended - Adding a teaspoon of honey makes your tea enjoyable as some herbs are bitter in taste .
